What is Beam?

A simple, free service to help you book a Bermuda taxi. You enter your trip details and your offer, which gets sent to the network of drivers. If a taxi is interested, they will match with you and your details will be exchanged.

Can I prebook trips?

Yes. On Beam you can request a collection for right now, later today, tomorrow - or any time.

How do I know what to offer?

As a rough guide, consider starting your offer around $1.50 per minute. You can always increase it if no driver accepts.

How will I be notified when a taxi accepts my offer?

You will be notified on WhatsApp as soon as a taxi accepts your offer.

How do I pay?

You pay your taxi driver in the normal way. Taxis on the Beam network accept cash or card payment.

I've matched with a taxi, can I cancel my trip?

You can cancel your trip in the app - but please call the driver first to let them know.
